Let’s face it – the Pokemon craze has taken the world by storm. Whether it the anime TV series, the video games or the card collection, kids can’t get enough of these little Japanese monsters and want nothing more than to be a Pokemon Master. So might as well just give in to madness and become a part of it by hosting your very own Pokemon party.

A party with a Pokemon theme is not very hard to plan but it’s always best to start at least two to three weeks before the event. Begin with the invitations. You can make them look Pikachu’s face. This is easily done of course with some yellow and black scrap paper and some circle cutters.

The decorations for your Pokemon party need to be peppy and up beat. Use a lot of yellow in the balloons, streamers etc. You can order a Pikachu shaped cake from your local bakery. Plan a lot of fun games for the evening. And award every winner with a badge just like the one Ash Ketchum gets during his training.

Organize a scavenger hunt of pokemon cards hidden at the venue. Or for older kids and die-hard fans play a game of trivia where contestants are questioned on characteristics of the different 493 pokemon! Send your guests home with some fun party favors in hand which could include among other things stickers and Pokemon cards.
